Contact & Support the Garden

Farmer Dave Phillips has been hard at work growing the vegetables and preparing meals with Jared Apuzo and his team at the Mount Vernon CSA.

Summer Harvest

The Giving Garden has had eight seasons of bountiful harvest yielding potatoes, snap peas, green beans, cucumbers, lettuce, carrots, radishes and more! Due to a succession planting technique, Farmer Dave has been able to ensure a successful harvest throughout the season.

Most of the vegetables grown by the Giving Garden are donated to Community Service Associates in Mount Vernon, which prepares meals for eighty people a week.

Spring School Visits

For the past few years, the Bronxville Giving Garden has hosted classes from the Reformed Church Nursery School. The students are able to see the new vegetables that Farmer Dave Philips planted for the upcoming harvest and plant sunflower seeds in the raised beds around the garden.
